Dual Immersion Program

Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Spanish Kindergarten

Students are selected for the DLI program by completing an application during the Kindergarten registration process. The Student Enrollment and DLI program applications have transitioned to online processes.  The APS DLI Kindergarten Program application is only available online and is accessed via the APS Online Registration Form. If the number of applications exceeds the number of seats available(50), a lottery is held to select the students. New students are not enrolled in this program after the Kindergarten entry year. Applications are due in Thursday, June 1, 2023 for the upcoming school year. A lottery, if needed, will be held the week with parent notification of admission to the program in June.

Program Mission: To prepare a multilingual/multicultural citizenry who can serve and compete locally and globally.
Program Goals: To develop bi-literate/bi-lingual proficiency, high academic achievement, and positive cross cultural competencies and attitudes in students.
Program Model: The cohort will participate in a 50/50 One-Way Spanish Model.
